Welcome to AfterTheCall (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, browser extension, dashboard, or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
AfterTheCall is a meeting recording and note-taking tool that allows users to:
- Record client or meeting calls
- Generate transcripts, summaries, action items, and notes
- Share call recordings and generated content via public links
- Store and manage recorded calls through a dashboard
Some features are available only on paid plans.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using AfterTheCall, you confirm that:
- You are legally allowed to use the Service in your jurisdiction
- You have the authority to enter into this agreement
3. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account using Google sign-in or email/password.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account.
4. Recording Consent & Legal Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that:
- All meeting participants are informed about the recording
- You have obtained any legally required consent before recording
AfterTheCall does not guarantee compliance with local, state, national, or international recording laws. We are not liable for any legal consequences arising from unauthorized or unlawful recordings.
5. User Content & Ownership
Your Content
You retain ownership of:
- Audio recordings
- Transcripts
- Summaries
- Notes
- Action items
License to AfterTheCall
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell your private content.
6. Public Sharing Links
When you enable public sharing:
- Anyone with the link can view the shared content
- You are responsible for who you share the link with
Public links may include:
- Audio recordings
- Summaries
- Action items
- Notes
- Transcripts
You can disable or delete shared content at any time.
7. Free Plan & Usage Limits
The Free plan includes a limited number of recorded calls per month. Once you reach the limit, recording will be disabled and you must upgrade to continue using the Service. Usage limits may change in the future with reasonable notice.
8. Paid Plans, Billing & Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.
By upgrading, you agree that:
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by law
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard
9. Cancellation & Downgrades
You can cancel your paid plan at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Downgrading may result in loss of access to paid features. We are not responsible for loss of data due to plan downgrades.
10. Data Storage & Retention
We store call recordings and generated content to provide the Service. We reserve the right to delete inactive or unused data and enforce reasonable storage limits. You are encouraged to download or export important content.
11. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Record conversations without required consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the extension or platform
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
12. Service Availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific results from generated summaries or AI outputs.
13. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Summaries, notes, and action items are generated using AI. They may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before relying on them.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. Termination may result in loss of access to stored content.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfterTheCall shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or business, or legal issues arising from recording or sharing content. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
